Police officers take an oath to serve and protect the community. However, police officers are not immune from mistakes and poor decision making. When police officers have lapses in judgement and make errors, we all suffer. When law enforcement officers act outside of what they are permitted to do, they need to be held accountable.
The Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution protects all citizens from police misconduct. These protections also allow you to pursue legal action against police officers that have acted inappropriately.
We strongly believe that no instance of police brutality or law enforcement misconduct should ever go unpunished. We aggressively pursue justice on behalf of all victims of police misconduct.
Types of cases we handle involving police misconduct include:
- Wrongful death
- Death in custody
- Excessive force
- Wrongful Imprisonment
- False arrest
